Mathieu Missiaen

About Mathieu Missiaen

Creative director, photographer, director and CGI artist, based in Paris — and, more and more, a vibe coder.

Trained in painting and furniture design, he co-founded the set design studio Le Creative Sweatshop before moving into photography, film and CGI.

He works for houses such as Hermès, Kenzo, Loewe, Dior, Acne Paper, Suntory and Amazon Japan — and on long personal series, from the masks of TAL to Aichmophobia.

He also vibe codes: AI-assisted development of his own tools, apps and sites, from Houdini setups to this website.

With Hyojeong Han, he runs iolo.paris, a shop of objects for which he also signs the art direction.
